What is it?  Drop-in disco, chance to play pool, catch up with friends and have fun over a drink and biscuit

When does it meet?  Every Thursday evening from 7.00 - 9.15pm

Where does it meet?  Prospect House

Who is it for?  Any adults with learning disabilities. Please note we are unable to provide supervision.  If care/support is required, this must be arranged independently and carers are most welcome.  Anyone traveling by taxi should arrange for a pick up time of 9.00pm

How much does it cost?  60p per visit

GATEWAY PLUS CLUB

What is it?  Activity-based group taking part in art and craft projects, film watching, 10 pin bowling, etc, and generally having fun with a drink and biscuit

When does it meet?  On alternate Wednesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.00pm

Where does it meet?  Prospect House

Who is it for?  Any adult with learning disabilities.  Please note that we are unable to provide supervision.  If care/support is required, this must be arranged independently and carers are most welcome

How much does it cost?  60p per visit

PENGUINS

What is it?  Gateway swimming club

When does it meet?  Every Friday at 8.20pm, swimming from 8.30 – 9.15pm

Where does it meet?  Foyer of Grand Central Pool, Stockport

Who is it for?  Any adults with learning disabilities.  Please note we are unable to teach people to swim or to provide supervision.  If care/support is required, this must be arranged independently and carers are most welcome

How much does it cost?  50p per visit

What is it?  A small friendship group that samples a range of activities
When does it meet?  The group usually meets on the last Monday of each month (times vary according to activities)
Where does it meet?  Various locations depending on the activity

Who is it for?  Young adult members of Stockport Mencap and their parents.  Young people must be accompanied by a parent.  Parents are involved in organising and supporting the activities

How much does it cost?  Meeting costs vary according to the activity

What is it?  A youth group taking part in a range of  games and fun activities

When does it meet?  Every other Tuesday between 7.00 – 8.45pm

Where does it meet?  Prospect House

Who is it for? Young people between the ages of 11 – 16 with a learning disability

How much does it cost?  Donations are gratefully received
